Who we are
The person who plans your event is the person who runs it on the day. There's no account manager sitting in between.
Why we set this up
We set up Corporate Event Experts in July 2026. The idea behind it was fairly simple: run business events where the client can see exactly what they're paying for.
Most agencies quote you one number. Inside that number sits the venue, the AV, the catering, their margin, and often a rebate from a supplier that you never get told about. It's legal and it's common, but it makes it very hard to work out whether you got a good deal. It also means the agency earns more when your event costs more, which is an odd thing to build a working relationship on.
We do it the other way round. Our fee is agreed before we start and shown as its own line. Supplier costs go through at cost with the invoices attached. If a supplier pays us a rebate, it comes off what you owe. Venue finding is the one exception, because there the commission is the entire business model, and we say so on the services page.
We're based in Crewe and work across the UK. Being outside London keeps our costs down, which is most of the reason our fees are what they are.

How we work
What you can expect from us
You see the costs
Every supplier cost is itemised and every quote gets forwarded on to you. If we're offered a rebate, it comes off your bill.
One point of contact
Whoever takes your brief is the same person on site at 6am on the day. You won't be handed to a coordinator you've never spoken to.
We'll say if it won't work
If the date is too tight or the budget won't stretch to what you're describing, you'll hear it from us before you've signed anything.
Judge us on the day
Did it run to time, did the room stay with it, and did the final invoice match the budget. That's the test.
The market we're in
What's happening in the market
UK business events are worth roughly £33.6 billion a year to the economy, and conferences and meetings are the biggest part of that at around £20 billion. About 1.08 million conferences and meetings take place here every year.
What's changed is the shape of the spending. Companies aren't cutting the number of events, they're making them smaller and spending more per head. Away day guest numbers are down about 37% while spend per guest is up 55%. Summer party numbers are down 25% with spend up 28%. Awards nights are the big growth area, with enquiries up 57% in the first half of 2026.
So the money is going into fewer, better events rather than more of them. That suits the way we'd want to work anyway.
